Hello
I am new to autocad( not a professional user of it) and I'm doing a project for a company I'm working for. They provided to me a pdf with 3d objects in it instead of a dwg. They didn't provide to me any back up such as fbx nor obj. So I'm hoping someone could shine some light on the situation.
My objective : I want to extract the 3D mesh or objects from the pdf in order to make it an fbx file and import it into Maya.
For the past few hours I have been dealing with the same error message. I have looked up each solution about this problem on your forum and on YouTube but none helped make the problem any better!! I readjusted the settings including the 3D option when I'm importing the file nothing worked!! Can someone please help? Or if you can please provide a step by step document that can help solve this issue, photos, or a guide? I would greatly appreciate the assistance! However I cant provide a pic of the 3D object or send it to anyone because of confidential reasons. I just hope this is enough info.
Thank you

Hi,
>> They provided to me a pdf with 3d objects in it instead of a dwg
3D-PDF's can't be imported into AutoCAD, sorry.
Also 3D-PDF's are not that often used to exchange data, you might find a converter, but I don't know any one.
So this is just a confirmation you don't need to continue evaluating how to import this with AutoCAD.
Sorry, - alfred -
