Hello,
I've been making some multiple Dynamic Blocks.
In many cases, I've been able to use a previous blocks as a base for another to save me some time.
So I've been opening the basic blocks and "Save block as" and given a new name.
Now, when I'm using the Countlists, they give a Count Error Report with "Renamed Block".
I know the count still works and this is just a warning. But I need to get this right so me and others will really notice when/if there will be an actual error to look at.
If I explode the blocks, I will loose all the Dynamics and actions and will need to start over.
How can I remove the block's name-history or 'connection' to other blocks name?
Thanks in advance and happy holidays. 🙂

Hi,
" as a base for another "
As base, or is the new just a copy of the source block? I mean, a 100% copy / no edits,
because the message usually appears for identical blocks only.
Blocks with identical content rarely make sense
and are easy to confuse, so the information can often be very helpful.
{ there is no link or history between the blocks, it's just the compared content }

@cadffm Thanks for the reply.
I've renamed all the Attributes and changed all the contents of the Block Properties Table.
I'll need to verify review the blocks and check if they're the ones who are visually identical to others.
Some of the Blocks (Intended to use in P&ID) may have same symbols but from different product line. I want to avoid having each block properties table to complex, but still use the standardized symbols.
I'm surprised that AutoCAD notices when blocks are visually the same. I'll try to add some hidden lines, dots or something to make them not identical.
