region objects disappeared

Hi, I use AutoCad 2023, Windows 10. In my 2D project I imported small regions objects (detail parts) from others and after few days objects disappeared. Layer in on. I opened .bak file and these objects disappeared too. Please, help me. Ela

are they proxy objects? if so what is your PROXYGRAPHICS system variable set to?

PROXYGRAPHICS <1> doesn't work.

I changed visual style (I tried different) but these regions objects still invisible.

I have tried to duplicate the issue but have been unable to.

Probably author of drawings that I copy some parts, used AUTOLIPS programing his file to disappeared after some action in another and my file.

No, something like that is impossible.

The only thing we see is: There are noe regions.. like the User erased them, nothing else.

In your .bak File the regions are missing too?

That means nothing other than that the regions were already missing when you saved before last.
(AutoCAD does NOT change a .bak file. They are only overwritten when saving with the latest version)

DWG file: State of the last save
BAK file: State of the pre-last save

How did you "import" them?  There's no Block in your drawing with the name of theirs, so I assume you didn't just INSERT that.

Also, can you narrow down your drawing to just the area where the Regions from theirs should be?  I find there are 263 Regions in theirs, and 10,536 in yours, so it's hard to know where to look for whether some of those are the same as theirs.

As you wrote before too (with links to another version of your both files).

And it worked, right?

You can copy&paste objects, incl. the REGIONs, right?

And from then, there is no reason why the regions should went,

except an user initiated action or corrupt data - what Acad tried to fix by recover-process,

anything else is out of my knowledge.

I may copy paste regions but if I move region in my drawings or change layer or want convert to block, regions disappeared.
