Refering drawing with named UCS

Hello,

I have a drawing (plot plan) in the global (world) coordinate system with the named (custom) UCS. I need to attach this plot plan to the new drawing and I would like to overlap the named plot plan UCS with the zero point of the WCS of new drawing. Is there any simple solution to do this without manual moving and rotating attached drawing?

Kind regards

Hey,
To better understand your question, do you only want to add the plot plan to the new drawing as an attachment?

Hi @izabeladreksler

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

To better understand what you are asking, is it possible to provide a couple drawings that demonstrate how you want to use this named UCS in a new file for orientation or placement?

Are you placing this file into the other as a block (INSERT) or as an Xref?

Hi @izabeladreksler,

Have you resolved this issue? If not, can you provide sample sample files and a bit more detail on what you are trying to do?
