Recover sv$ (autosave) files lost

I accidentally didn't save a document that needed saving. My Autocad 2019 is set up to autosave every 10 minutes. I need to recover the file that was last autosaved. However, when I migrated my settings from an old computer to the one I am on now, I brought the autosave file path as well. The autosave file path does not exist on my new computer. Where have all my files been autosaving or how do I find out?

Thanks!

Type OPTIONS, go to the Files tab and expand Automatic Save File Location.

HI @Anonymous,

Autosave is not intended to be used as backup. It will save drawings that have modifications within the specified time period but will be removed it you perform a Save, Saveas, QSave, ETC.

Search in your Windows log-in temp folder
C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Temp

Hi @Anonymous,

You can type %temp% at the Windows command line to take you to your temp folder.
