Hi @Anonymous,

I am able to open the file but as you can see from the file size there is nothing inside it. Do you have a BAK version of the file?

It i only a 152k DWG file: too small to have any content like in the preview.

Remember, the preview is just a static raster image saved in the file when all was good, it is not a window to the actual content of the file now.

@pendean

It is 153KB and it is absolutely enough for the whole drawing , but the database is corrupt.

(and 150-300KB = the Average size of my own usual day-work files if the data is created just by myself Man LOL , otherwise the size can be 5,10,20MB with the same informations Man Frustrated )

One program alert the message that the registered application ACAD is missing in the file,

but how can i add the appid information if i can not open the file? I can't.

But i am sure the right program ignore that problem and can open the file.

Hi @cadffm,

I am able to open the file without issue after I ran Recover on the file using AutoCAD 2019.1.2.  When I use Qselect in the file though it indicates that there is no content inside the file.

Sorry, i can not recover this file. Is it yours? Real car/professional work miniature Model for fun?

No "parabrisa" (windshield?!) here, just other nice views as CAD file, if you like..

Hi,

>> I can see preview

The preview does not show the geometric/vector content of the file, it's only a small image (in the header of the file) created sometime during or before the latest save.

The real content is defect, you should take the BAK file or a version of your backups from this project.

Hi,

>> Use Teigha Viewer

May I ask if you were able to get the OP's file working with the software you suggested?
