Recommended RAM for projects

Hey guys I recently started a job as a CAD technician and am using AutoCAD.  I have it on my home computer as well.  My home computer is more setup for gaming but do you think 16GB of RAM is enough.  I was thinking about upgrading to 32 but idk if I need it.

Thoughts?

I would say that 16GB is for standard AutoCAD projects (not verticals like Civil 3D) quite ok.

At least I would not upgrade to 32GB as long as the taskmanager does not show you the need for it.

In most cases when more than 16GB is needed the files are too slow to handle them in an efficient way and would then be separated to individual parts.
