random error lines

i am using autocad 14 and while working my screen suddenly shows multiple small lines attached to my drawing. I am not able to select these lines and the disappear if i restart my laptop 3-4 times. Regen also dosen't work

Does the same happen when you disable the hardware acceleration?

Does that happen only in one drawing? In that case you can try

• run command _AUDIT and see if there exist errors in the drawings database (and clean them)
• run copy & paste to copy your geometry into a new drawing and continue to work with that drawing.

A screenshot would be great, of course!

Can someone please explain what AutoCAD 14 means, usually people give me a year, thanks.
