Properties Box Bar Opening Off Screen

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has a solution for this issue please?

For the last few days if I open the properties box - it opens on my 3rd screen slightly off screen meaning I cannot access the side bar to move it.

I have tried:

 - ALT-SPACE-M and though the arrows come up nothing moves.

 - Resetting the user profile and it still happens

When you say nothing moves, how did you try to move it?

If working properly you should be able to move the dialog with the mouse, but you can also use the arrow keys. If the arrows show up but the dialog doesn't move with the mouse, use the keyboard arrow keys. Sometimes you have to do that in order order to get it to recognize the mouse movement.

In this video you can see that the arrows show up but dont move the palette (layers in my example).

After the arrows show up, i then press one of the arrow keys on the keyboard and then i can move the window as needed.

But first... Have you installed the 2022.1.4 / 2023.1.6 / 2024.1.5 / 2025.1 Update yet? You never quite state with version you are using in your Win11 PC. ABOUT command in your AutoCAD will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

So you don't have the latest 2025...sign in to your account and download the latest which is 2025.1 and install that.

Next try these steps to reposition your Properties window:

Palettes open partially off-screen in AutoCAD (autodesk.com)

Hi all! My husband managed to salvage it!

I tried the options above to no joy....then my husband came in and changed my screen resolution and BAM

Not sure why this has changed in last few days as I never play with my screen resolution but there you go...

Thank you for all your solutions!
