problem with x-ray visual style

I have encountered a problem that I don't seem to fix. It concerns de x-ray visual style. Before it showed surfaces and lines in a an easy to read manner. It's a very informative mode. But for some reason, it shows all grainy now. It does so in all my files. Is it some sort of setting that I am missing here?

See these posts depicting the smooth 'before the problem' x-ray mode and the grainy image it produces now.

Hi,

try to close your AutoCAD and reopen it again and see if any changes . if not fixed :

  • i suggest to review X-ray settings from VISUALSTYLES command .
  • reset AutoCAD to default settings . >> Click <<

Hi, thanks for your repsonse. I tried changing the visual style settings of x-ray already. It didn't work. Resetting to default seems a little extreme. It might work. But I might reset certain unwanted settings too. I'd prefer to avoid that.
