Problem with student version plot stamp

I have a fully licensed edition of Autocad LT 2020 and a student version of Autocad 2019 on my PC.

I accidentally opened a file in the student edition and immediately closed it when I saw the warning re student version etc.

When I opened it in my Autocad LT it still said "created" on a student edition.

I then deleted the file altogether and redownloaded the original which is from a commercial partner ie no student version involved. When I open it in Autocad LT the goddamned student edition thing still turns up.

Anyone able to help.

No problem, just save in student license version is a problem

Not you created this file? Then you can NOT say that there was no student licensed version was involved..

If you download a file and the edu stamp appears in a commercial version, it has nothing to do with your AutoCAD.

(Except you would open the file with a student version, but the LT2020 is a commercial version as you wrote).

The downloaded file was

- created by a student license version

 or

- someone pasted one time objects from such a file (created by a student license version)

 or

- the file was edited by a 3.part program (not licensed by autodesk and with wrong information when saving the file)

I do know it did not have the stamp because I had opened it previously a number of times - no problem.
It was only after I accidently opened it in the student edition did the message start to arise.

Curious and illogical, until now I have not heard anything like this.
(You can read it often, but these are usually cases in which the user is wrong)

It's simple: post the download link, then we'll see ..

PS: You can exchange the file also at the source, then you suddenly download from the same place another file ..

what will not popup a messagebox and not print a edu stamp.

this case is for 2014SP0 and older or 2019 and later.

If your link in post 6 are the files you are referring to when writing "redownloaded the original" ... then

• this dwg-file already has the education flag
• even worse, the PDF from the download already showed that plot stamp, but someone tried to remove the educ-plot stamp which is already a violation of the license agreement for education licenses (to be read >>>here<<<).

That mean Productversion 2014, without servicepacks(SP) - so i wrote SP0 / zero / non / without

It sounds like you downloaded a file created with a student version of AutoCAD... this issue has nothing to do with your system or specific versions of AutoCAD you have installed.
