Problem opening file

I saved a drawing Thursday night and when i tried to open it Friday morning it said the file was not valid. How do i restore the file or open up a previous version?

Find the matching BAK file, rename the extension to DWG in WIndows Explorer, and use that.

You can also try to find an SV$ autosave file in your Windows Log-in Temp folder, rename that extension to DWG and see if it helps.

Or look for your Wednesday night backup file to recover.

If you want to post that corrupt DWG file here, someone might be able to do something with it. Maybe.

This is the file I am talking about. The biggest problem is that are Cad program is not connected to a network or anything it is only on the hard drive. Accessing it from Windows Explorer does not work.
