Problem autoCAD dimentions

Hello Everyone,

In attachment I have 2 pictures. You can see that I selected in each picture one line. These 2 lines are standing next to each other and they are also having the same layer. The problem I have is that 1 line is 2.85 long while the other is 33.3721. Also if i use the measure tool, the first line is 2.85 while the other is 33.3721. What am I doing wrong. I tried to delete it, also tried to start over. But after a time one of the dimension's isn't correct. Probably I'm doing something wrong? I tried google but could't find anything. I hope someone can help me. Thank you for the answers.

Regards,

Raf

2D right?

Then why does one of them have a Z coordinate on one end much different than the Z coordinate on the other end?

Rotate in 3D a bit and you  will clearly see the problem.

The line endpoints are not all at the same elevation.

Hello JDmather,

You are right. This will be the problem. I changed the working angle because the left side of this project is placed in an angle. I used the USC tool. Probably I did something wrong. Do you know what the best thing is to solve this problem? I mean can I use a simple tool?

Thanks you for the fast respons!

Regards,

Raf
