Print to PDF error

At our office, whenever we wanted to do the PDF, we do from dwg to dwf, then dwf to pdf. we are trying to eliminate the dwf and wanted want to do from dwg to pdf. Whenever we do like this the fonts are becoming light, and they are not as dark as to when we do pdf from dwf. we use Adobe. Foxit does a good job here, but most of our colleagues and customers use Adobe and I can't ask them to change to Adobe. In Adobe I did all the changes checked/un-checked smooth line. Please advise on this.

SHX or TTF fonts? Your images are too small for me to decipher.

Note that ADOBE has this as a known issue for a few years now, the default settings for display (because is it a bulky slow platform) are unfriendly to SHX fonts. No workaround except to bump up your lineweights in your plot style tables to were they need to be.

All our CAD/Smart blocks are created using SHX fonts.

Bump up your plot style tables lineweight settings to compensate for Adobe's shortcomings then, there is no other option AFAIK.
