My Presspull command stopped selecting lines.

Thank you for your help.

HI bruce4444,

Presspull can be pretty picky sometimes! If it can't find a clean, closed boundary it just won't pick anything at all. Instead of hoping that it can detect a boundary you can try creating a polyline boundary first and then selecting the boundary.

Trying to minimize the number of entities on the screen can also help. Try freezing items that are not necessary and zooming in tight to the whole are that you want to work on.

I've found the press-pull command to be very unreliable - especially if a solid has been sliced previously.

Some times it just refuses to select certain faces.

IMHO, this cheesy command should be abandoned & the stretch command should be expanded to work in 3D just like it does in 2D.

Having two commands that effectively do the same thing is counterintuitive & must be very confusing to newbies.

Then again, what do I know? I'm not a clever programmer, I'm just a dumb draffie.
