POLYLINE JOIN AND END STYLE

This is absurd . . . I've spent over 20 minutes trying to find what's driving the vertex appearance of a polyline with an assigned global width, searching several forums but with no solution.

I understand the setting is controlled by color in a plot style table (.ctb in this case) and that the plot preview will show the setting applied.  But it doesn't seem to make any difference what I change it to, I get very sharp outcroppings even in plot preview at the corners when joined (preferred over individual lines).  I've tried exploding the line(s) and re-creating the polyline, joining them before or after assigning the line width, but to no avail.  Very frustrating.

Can this not be a simple setting to allow global application, or by layer, or by color?

@Ryan_Rincones ,

This may not solve your direct question, but please keep in mind that Plot Preview does NOT always look the same as the final plot. So during your testing, be sure to do full plots when determining what the final product will look like.

Thank you.

Yes, I have experienced that - items showing on preview but absent in output document.  In this case, I'd be hoping for document to show correctly.

@Ryan_Rincones ,

Can you post an example drawing or some pictures of what your issue is so we can see it and help better?

Best,
