Polyline fill in 3D hidden visual style

We are currently using 3d solid objects to plot our HVAC drawings, and we would like to be able to make plots with legacy hidden in our viewports, but polylines become hollow (arrows, match-lines, fire rated walls, etc). Currently we solve this problem by overlaying two viewports- one is as displayed and the second is legacy hidden. Does any one know if there is a setting, or an option, that would "fill' these polylines, so we can eliminate the need for two viewports?

Thank you.

Plines and solids (flat solids like an arrowhead) will not display filled unless the view is "top" view.
