Plotting to D size in AutoCAD

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi Guys,

just started a few months ago at a new company where they utilize 24 x 36 paper and I honestly have not had any experience working with D size paper.

We us 11 x 17 for the shop and for submittals but sometimes print on 24 x 36 for details that the shop requires for better clarification.

Do I need to create a new Title Block/ Page Setup for 24 x 36 or can I simply publish my 11 x 17 Title Block/Page Setup and just print on 24 x 36? Would it come out to scale?

Please help.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

I suggest that you create a titleblock for the Dsize sheet and place it on a paperspace layout. Then you can crate a viewport of the modelspace geometry and assign an appropriate scale to the viewport.

If you would like to share a sample file I can help you set this up.
