Plotting or Publishing via the Sheet Set Manager don't work

Hi there,

I'm trying to incorporate in my new workplace the Sheet Set in our plan production.

But one of the powerfull thing of the SSM is to publish multiple (or single) sheets at a time.

Well, i tryed it since a few months in and out publishing via the style sheet on the sheet set  template i'm building and it doesn't print.

The publishing icon in the status bar of civil 3d 2012 keeps on going for ever !!! (Even when i cancel the job, it doesn't stop the icone, like it's jamed)

I searched on the web and everywhere and couldn't really find solutions.

Does someone encountered this problem ?
Any solutions ?

Btw, even if i pass by a drawing that isnt in the SSM and choose several layouts to publish it does the same thing too.

I use to do this on a 2008 version of Autocad.

Is background publishing turn on? kill it.
Are you using pagesetups that work with your chosen output device?
What if you publish to PDF or DWF as a test (options are on the PULBISH pop-up)?

Yes, background is active since all the publishing is doing by background.

How do i kill it ? (You mean deactivate ? Or kill it via CTRL+ALT+DEL ?)

My page setups usually works with Adobe PDF proprely.

Did it with the Plotting function and came out perfect.

Tryed out Publish to PDF and does the same thing (I can see the publishing icon working, but nothing happens)

To "kill" background plotting means to turn off that feature (setting) in AutoCAD:

Tools (menu)

Options

Plot & Publish tab

Uncheck both background processing options.

-OR, on the commandline:

setvar BACKGROUNDPLOT 0

-OR, copy to commandline:

(command "setvar" "BACKGROUNDPLOT" 0)

This option has caused problems for years.

Always turn it off: you never want it to run in the background, Windows is not really ready for that ability (poorly implemented).

I have an issue while in Sheet Set Manager, I set up my page setups & they are in the list of Publish Over rides.

But I can't add one that uses a window?

Any help on this?

Thank you
