Plotting a Drawing in AutoCad 2016

I am trying to plot a drawing with a scale of 3/4"=1'0" but when I click on plot the drawing is nothing but black image, the image shows both in Model/Paper. I am using a Brother printer model MFC-J480DW for the plotting. What am I doing wrong???.

Are you printing from model space or a layout? In either case, with no other command active, run the command PREVIEW. What do you get? If you don't get an exact preview of how you want the printed output to look, then your PAGESETUP is not correct. Start by correcting that.

In the Plot dialog box change the "What to plot:" drop down until you see something in the preview. Below is a snip of what you see if plotting from model space. There are different selections if plotting from paper space.

Is it possible to share your drawing?  If so, please apply  a named page setup to a layout so I have your plot settings.

Perhaps the driver you are using for your printer does not support images attached in AutoCAD?

What if you print using DWG To PDF.pc3 instead?

Would the PDF created show the image properly?
