Plot style not working

Hi,

Can someone help me with this issue? I'm trying to pdf my cad file on my laptop (window version autocad trial version 2021) and the plot style is not working. The cbb is not missing...All the lines are colored, it doesn't follow the ctb. For a test, I open the same cad  file in my other laptop (Mac autocad LT 2021) and trying to pdf it, it comes out right. Couldn't find any blog or forum that mentioned this problem...I guess it may be something regarding my laptop configuration but I really don't know  or any variable I should use? Please help.

@Anonymous ,

Make sure both versions are pointing to the "same" CTB path and you are selecting "Plot with plot styles".

See link: To install plot style files (CTB and STB) into AutoCAD

Post your plot style table and a DWG file where it has no effect, lets see what else you might have going on.

Hi,

Here is my template and the plot style that I created. Just to confirm that we are on the same page. This cad file when I open on my other Mac laptop, everything is pdf as it supposes to but it pdf in color in my personal laptop (a window). I don't think that is the file the problem...is there any setting i need to do in my personal laptop to fix it?

Thks in advance..this problem is driving me nuts...

@Anonymous ,

Your files did not upload.

Consider reading Autodesk suggestions from these links:

FYI: In case you did not know, here is the link to the Mac AutoCAD Forum.

Hi!

Sorry again. Ummm I don't know how to attach. Doesn't seem to have the option for me.

Will a link be good?

let me know  if its works.

Just to recap. I dont think there is a problem with the file. Im not sure if its the compactibility between my laptop (a window) and the laptop from my work which is a macbook. I had tried to use the converstyle, plotstyle....nothing seems to fix the issue...

Thks in advance!

Your link appears to have timed out or is looking for a specific user to gain access only.
And include a sample DWG file that still exhibits the problem.

We all have Windows PCs and laptops, your use of a MAC (where everything works just fine) is irrelevant AFAIK.

Sorry about that again!!
One more try. Here is gthe link of a wetranfer. I had include the ctb. file and a samplee template that plot/pdf just fine in the mac laptop.  This is only a sample but all for a test I had also open other files and was abe to plot perfectly in the Mac laptop but plot in color in the the window...

That worked.

Your plot style table is behaving as you have set it to act:
COLOR = USE OBJECT COLOR

Compare it to MONOCHROME.CTB and you'll see what you want vs. what you have

thks you so much it works!!! I guess the ctb that i created had changed for some reason when I open the same file on my window laptop versu the mac laptop...because when I open the same file using the same ctb. , the mac laptop is fine.

Any way thank you so much, its was driving crazy for the past 2 weeks.
