Pen Weights not working

I've been using AutoCAD for 30 years and have had the same pen weights. I'm on a new university system and I have exhausted all the tricks and menu items I know and nothing will work. The Monochrome pen weight works. But not my color dependent pen weight not work. Yes I have checked the Plot with Style button. Yes I have used the Convertpstyles....etc.  Nothing works.

Hi,

"the Monochrome pen weight works

It sounds your are talking about .ctb files (with lineweight settings), one .ctb works, another .ctb file works not

Possible issue: Non-compatible .ctb file! This .ctb File is not compatible with your currently used program version.

Is it a .ctb file what was created in the past, not created by this version!?

Try it: Cretae a new .ctb file - rebuild your old custom .ctb

Set lineweight of one or two colors and try to plot, if it works, you can rebuild the rest of your plotstyletable.

(rarely in the last 25 versions, but happens, that .pc3 .pmp .stb or .ctb from older versions are not compatible with a newer version)

could you share your dwg & ctb or stb files (by compressing as zip) here for community to take a look?

See attached.
The Pen Weight name is NMU #1.cbt in the pull down menu in the Xref Floor
Plan.
And I attached the .ctb file also.

Thx

I had to Zip compress the .ctb file. It said the .ctb format is not supported here.

Here is a .dwg file with NMU #1 pen weights in the menu under the Plot command.

And what Color # are you expecting using your NMU #1.ctb file to be plotted out in Color and NOT Black?

Looking at your NMU #1.ctb, all Colors are Black except for the following #s are in Color:

8, 10, 33, 40, 50, 53, 54, 66, 90, 160, 240, 250 to 255:

Using AutoCAD's sample Chroma.dwg (Chroma-Model.pdf) & your NMU #1.ctb you can see this as well:

In your drawing assuming you assigned all object Colors to Bylayer, all layers are assigned to Color #s that would plot out as Black.

There are only 3 Layers that are assigned to Color 8 that would plot out as Color 8:

Curious as to why NMU #1.ctb file you have been using all the time which gave you color print outs before worked perfectly but now all of a sudden the color assignments disappeared?
