overkill and oops

Hi

I need to find out whats has been deleted by overkill command.

I remember some version back ago, I can use oops command to bring back the deleted object and then move, previous. but now it don't work anymore.

May I know is there any work around for this

You guys were almost there before you started talking about creating a new command.

 

Solution #1:

Open the offending file.

Save the file as a different name adding a suffix to indicate it is a comparison file.

Open the offending file again.

Run the oops command.

Save.

 

Now comes the fun part. Insert the now clean original file into the comparison file and run oops. What's left is the objects deleted by the first run of oops. Make sure to show that file to the users so that they can learn from it.

 

Solution #2:

There are several advanced software solutions for comparing drawings out there. Autodesk's Design Review, which I believe is free, for one. https://www.autodesk.com/products/design-review/overview
