ordinate dimension leader lines

I have searched the forums, but cannot find any posts relating to editing the length of the leader lines when using Ordinate dimensions.

We have set up a project where the model drawings are set up in true X and Y values relative to the origin point, however when I use the ordinate dimension to give me the Y value and raise the text clear of the details, the length of the horizontal extensions are fixed from the dimension point and the text from the Jog.

I have tried dragging the points to shorten the lines, but they don't move.

Is there a way to shorten these lines, as they are causing a bit of a problem, especially on drawing with a small scale.

Regards,

As @ВeekeeCZ suggests, the "arrow size" [even though there's no arrow] controls the distance from your on-the-line grip to the bend [DIMASZ System Variable], and in the Text tab of the Dimension Style Modify dialog box, this:

controls the distance from that on-the-line grip to the end of the text part [DIMGAP System Variable].
