objects selection problem in autocad 2017

Dear sir,

I install AutoCAD 2017 in my system. every thing is fine. but I faced one problem.

I open more then one files in CAD. example 2 or 3... suppose, I select the objects in one file-A. and then I switch to an other file-B my selected objects will deselected in previous file-A.

I didn't have any problem in previous version of AutoCAD like 2013-14-15-16.

kindly guide me in this matter.

I hope you will understand what problem I faced in CAD 2017.

Hello,

I see the issue you are describing but I can't say that it is problematic or has any adverse consequence.

I selected several objects in an open dwg file and when I switched to another open dwg file the objects in the first de-selected (evident upon return to first file).

I seem to recall, like you, that objects remained selected but again I don't realize an impact in my workflows.

Maybe you could explain the workflow you rely on this behavior for and other users could analyze as well?
