Need to stop page setups from being modified automatically

Please refer to attached before and after images.   I recently got a new computer with a fresh AutoCad 2015 installation in my office, and I'm experiencing some Autocad issues I've never seen before. When I go to print a letter or tabloid size sheet using the plot command, Autocad is automatically modifying the page setup (without me actually going into the page setup manager and modifying it), resulting in a smaller uniform background than the 24"x 36" paper size set by default in the page setup. It also modifies the print device and anything else I change.  This is something new with this fresh install.  In the past, I could plot anything from paper space, any size, any device, and it would preserve the current page setup.   I figure this is just a setting, but I can't find it.

HI @CabbagePalm,

Let's try and figure out what is happening here. Did you migrate any PC3 or page setups into this version of AutoCAD?

Can you attach a sample drawing with a page setup applied and also the corresponding PC3 file? I would like to see where there might be some discrepancies.

Im not sure i 100% understand your problem, but i have some suggestions.

check in options and see if use last successful plot is selected.

Also you can select previous plot from the print menu

In the plot dialog box, there is an option to "Save changes to layout". Make sure that box is not checked.

If you are using named plot styles, you should be able to just reapply the appropriate one. If not, you will have to reset the default one for the layout.

It was the 'save changes to layout' option was checked on the new install.  Can't believe I missed that.  Thanks everyone for your help.
