can anyone show me what a multiple view drawing would look like from this picture dimensions front view top view right side view I cannot for the life of me get it it's for a college assignment due tomorrow 9 a.m.

Ignore the 51, do the math and you will have what you need.  The 65 is the distance from the front of the finished surface to the identical surface on the other side.  I found this in my 1967 copy of a Giesecke book and even then it wasn't clear what the dim was supposed to be.  See attached.  It was done in 'freedom units' but it the same and in the newer book it was updated to ISO.

Hi,

If this was a final exam project then I personally feel, respectfully of course, that the instructor made a poor choice.

 

You've not yet received a solution to your initial question so I decided to give this one a try.  I went about this by creating the 3D model, then pulling the orthographic projects via ViewBase commands.

If I were instructing this project as a 2D view creation project to my class I would have started with an oblique drawing to replicate the project as shown, then I would develop the projections in 2D.

 

There are 3 or 4 problems with the illustration...

  1. Clarity - some details are too hard to read due to the quality and the linework presented.  Searching online for "Socket Form Roller", I was able to find a better quality illustration from a Prentice-Hall textbook (SFR.pdf file attached to this reply).
  2. Missing Details -
    * The location of the 11mm main web in the Z axis is not clear to me.  I placed it such that it's rear face is flush with the rear of the left 30mm boss feature.  This appears to have pretty good location with the rear of the upper arm and visually OK with the bottom 30mm boss feature.
    ** I don't think there is enough data shown to develop the upper arm (22 DRILL feature).  I think an angle is needed, or some other dimension to provide alignment.  I assumed tangency on the right of this feature to place a 60 degree line, and offset the 60 degree line by 27mm for the arm width.  The 6mm horizontal intersection as shown was then within .09mm horizontal accuracy.
  3. Fillets are specified as 2mm radius but there are a few places where this will not fit so I left them out.
    * Front face of the upper arm boss to arm, front face of the left arm boss to main web.
  4. The 51mm radius on the main web was to be centered at 5mm to the left of the center of the 30mm main feature.  I centered it upon the main feature in the attached because it was messy to place dims to account for this.

I would probably handle dimensioning a bit differently if real work but I just wanted to cover all of the details similar to the provided illustration so you might relate them easier.  Oh yeah, hidden lines make this horrible to look at;)

 

Please find the attached files and give some feedback to let me know if I missed anything for you need any further details.

This was fun test of old skills.
