Multi-leader missing in layout view

Autocad 2016 on Windows 10. I created Multi-leader text objects in modelspace, but when I change to a paperspace view the leader and text are missing even though they are on the same layer as the lines that do show in both paperspace and modelspace. Am I missing a setting? If not this has been a bug for many years.

Sounds like it's frozen by viewport. Look up VP Freeze.

If they are on the same layer, then I suspect your annotations use annotation scaling.

Have you checked it?

the same problem. It was about annotation scales having different values in the viewport properties. Thanks

I am having a similar issue except my leaders are already in paper space, and they do show up, but they are solid color inside the text bubble. When i explode them they appear normal. The leader that you can read the number has been exploded to show how they should look.  issue.jpg
