Multi-editing multileaders that use blocks with attributes instead of text

Is there any way to multi-edit multileaders that use blocks with attributes instead of text?  For example, I have a multileader style for keynotes that uses the hexagon block.  Many times I've found I need to renumber my keynotes, and I've never found a way to replace the attribute info in multiple keynote multileaders at the same time.  I have to double-click each individual multileader keynote, wait for the dialog to pop open, change the text, and click OK.

Have you tried using the Find command and under Text Types check Dimension or leader text:

Yes I have.  Find/replace does not pick up the attributes inside the blocks that are part of multileaders.

Well dang it, today, it works.  Yesterday, nope.  I think my computer needs a good wipe.  Thanks for letting me know it should work!

Message #2 above, aka the solution to this original post, did you already try what it asked to set? You have to tell the command what to search and what to skip, you might have done all that on your old computer too

I usually run that command's "search options" (left column) same as example shown & the "text types" (right column)  all checked & it worked on my old pc. that's how this new pc was setup, didn't work. I tried only checking the one in example above "Dimension or leader text" with no luck, it didn't work either.

Share a DWG file with the content in it, point to it all, give us an example of what you want to change inside the DWG file.

My company will not allow the upload of any files to the internet nor send any attachment outside of the company. Let me try to get some clearance to upload a sample file for you to help me with.

Thanks, Chris
