Mtext custom field in SSM

Hi everyone,

My name is Amit. I am an Architect. I am new to this place and this is my first post here.

I consider myself a moderate level user of AutoCAD. Most of my drawings related issues have been taken care by me till date with the help of online forums etc. but recently I have stumbled upon a unique issue which I could not find a solution.  I am trying to create a custom sheet set property named "00 general notes". While all other custom properties are normal (typically a single line length), the general notes custom property intended to be multi-line with its own formattings (auto-numbering, paragraphs indents etc)

the idea is that the general notes of the entire sheet set can be updated in one go. I have no idea how it is possible?

I have attached the sheet set DST file here for reference. any help is highly appreciated.

Hello @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting & welcome to the forums. 🙂

When you get a sec can you please send a screenshot of what exactly you are referring too or explain further after watching this video. Maybe you are trying to create a "general notes" template with fields?

Please try to etransmit your Sheet Set, the .dst file only provides limited information a skeleton of the sheet set package.

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.

So far Sheet Set Manager properties are not supporting special formatting.

thank you Natasha & JTBworld for such quick response.

I think JTBworld has understood what I was trying to achieve and has pretty much confirmed what I was already expecting.

JTBworld - I have admired your contribution to the AutoCAD and your attempt to the feature enhancement within AutoCAD. I especially loved your plugin SSMpropeditor. maybe you can do something about the issue I raised in your future release of the plugin. 😉

Got it. Unfortunately only Autodesk themselves can add this specific feature to the Sheet Set Manager as it would involve things that a 3rd party developer can't modify or improve upon.
