Mouse wheel click and drag Laggy in model space on VPN

So I'm working remotely for a bit on a VPN. Everything works completely fine except when I'm in model space (paper space click and drag works). So when I click in model space with my scroll wheel it just starts jumping around and lagging. No mouse lag except that. I tried the CURSORTYPE command, i tried turning off hardware acceleration, and I've tried a few other things. My pc has a good graphics card. Any ideas help. Thanks!

VPNs are notoriously slow for AutoCAD, especially if your internet connection is not very good.

Can you download the files locally and then load them back to the server when you are done?

It’s just weird that everything works fine but that. It’s manageable though. Just pan out and back in. I’m just use to clicking and dragging

AutoCAD does so much two-way communicating you probably just have a choke-point in Internet speed at one end unless you know for sure both upload/download speeds at both ends are identical and super-fast.
