modify center line system variables

i have just been upgraded from autocad 2016 to 2018  and found the "center line" command (from 2017 )

i found the system variable commands , but from what i can figure out they have to be set on everysheet i use the center line command.

is there a way to set / change the "base" system variables so when i use the center line command  the system variable stay constant when i switch sheets  and not have to change it every time

All of the CENTER* system variables are Drawing-Specific variables. If you want to change them, you should do so in your drawing TEMPLATE (DWT file).
