model will not change views

My model will not change views.  If I click on the SE ISOMETRIC for instance, it will not turn the model around.  It is weiird, because it looks like the crosshairs are responding to it, but the model is not.  I can also still hold shift and rotate it manually.  This is isolated to only this drawing that I know of.  Any suggestions?

Its working just fine, but zooming to extents (as expected) and you have some garbage scattered EXTREMELY far from your model so it appears to disappear.

While viewing the model enter the ERASE command.

When prompted to select objects enter (SSGET"X") that will select the entire drawing database.

then enter R for remove and window the model components you wish to keep and press enter twice to delete the scattered garbage.
