mleader, block , layers problem

Hello

one of my customers asked me the following problem

a mleader style use a per user block contains

this block contains

graphical objects (polyline or circle) in the layer C_C

  texts in the layer C_A1

attributes, somme of them are in the C_A1 layer, the others are in the C_AR layer

the layers have differents colors

after inserting the mleader, all the attributes have the same aspect (same color) and do no respect their layers states

If I freeze the C_A1 layer, the texts disapper, the attributes not

If I freeze the C_AR layer, all the attributes disappears

It appair, all the attributes use the configuration of the last of them , (changing the attributes order change the visible results)

How can I have a logical working (respecting the proper layer states, and the rights colors) ?

attached, you can find a sample

regards

Luc

Hi FRFR1586,

Interesting conundrum!  It appears that the BYLAYER settings do get ignored when it gets attached to the multileader. I played with one of the attributes and changed its color to 82 (to match the current color of the layer it is on). It seems to retain the color setting!

So I guess the answer is yes - it doesn't work quite as expected. Perhaps this indicates a Leader and a block is more appropriate in this situation.

Hi John,

the problem with the colors is one part of the complete problem

the badly respect of the layers state (then freezing) is more troublesome

regards

Luc
