Mesh to 3D solid, remove excess lines

I've created a 3D Solid by creating each face of my object into a mesh, then converting the mesh into a surface, and then using the surfsculpt command I created it into one solid block. But it's still showing all of the separate faces as if it were still mesh. Is there anyway to remove all of these excess lines?

Well, I was able to go to the visual styles manager and turn off facet edges under the edge settings for the view style I was using.

If the solid surfaces consist of several fragments, you can simplify the solid geometry with the command _solidedit _body _clear
