Gents, quick question, how difficult is for you to sort all the layer names in the "merge layers" window alphabetically, or even better , include a "search box" (please consider some of use have more than 1k layers using diverse blocks, Xrefs, and coordinating projects)
Thanks and regards

I would suggest you to use the layer manager for merging multiple layers since you have a search box with wildcard support and also you could sort layers with layer name color etc.

Hi thanks, but try this:

Create +1k layers with random names and try to find 2 layers to merge them;they not be sorted alphabetically and you will not have a search box

Set the variable MAXSORT to a high number like 10000 to get the layers to sort alphabetically
