making the dog leg visible on a leader

Hi all,

I can't seem to get the 'dog leg' on the dim leader to show up when we use the text alignment  with dimension line.  Is there a way to do this?

Are you using Leaders or Mleaders?  Can you share a drawing file that shows how you want the text aligned and how you want the landing to appear?
