Lisence number

Hello,

It seems AutoCAD's old school contact and tech support has been 86'd. So I'm guessing people are now being forced to go public on these community boards with their needs? Wow.

Well public people in AutoCAD land.. what do you do when you've reformatted your computer and downloaded the latest version of AutoCAD and your old serial number doesn't work? I have a valid subscription for the full monty with Autodesk by the way. And what's up with this Lisence manager thing?

Guess I have no option of getting a direct contact with AutoCAD tech team or support and must wait on someone's reply meanwhile, I am falling behind on work and may be upsetting some professionals in the field of my career waiting on my production while I'm waiting on an answer on this thread that I'm forced to write to to get my paid for AutoCAD program going... and the wait begins..

I shouldn't have to rely on a public forum with my issues. Where is AutoCAD's tech support?

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles getting help.

For activation and/or licensing issues, you can of course get direct assistance from Autodesk. Please visit our Contact Us page and select the topic corresponding to your question or issue. In your case, I believe this should be Activation & Registration. You can then indicate that you need help activating a product, and finally click on "Serial Numbers and Product Keys" or "Online Activation Errors". Wait a few seconds for the page to load completely, and you'll see options to contact us by Chat or Email.

Regards,

Simona Golisciano

next time go to http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/rant/ but when you want help from other peeps that wear the same shoes you do, feel free to post here. I'm sure people will be happy to assist. But rants will cause people to ignore your future posts - trust me on that one.
