Linked navisworks model doesn't fade when printed

Hi all,

I am working on a project that involves some 3d scaffolding (in autocad) and an adjacent tank (navisworks model). The main focus of our project is the scaffolding so I would like to show the tank only for reference. I have linked the navisworks file as a coordination model. This give me options to fade it, which works well while on autocad, but it is printing at full color (not faded). I have played with the transparency options and the visual styles without much luck. As is the drawing is non usuable because the lines get mixed with the background.
Any ideas to effectively fade the navisworks model during the plotting?

you can try changing the transparency in navis and see if you get a more acceptable result.
