I have created a series of linetypes to suit an inherited drawing, and make it easier to read.
The process was, I will admit trial and error and based on an Autodesk tutorial and designed to suit the inherited drawings.
Got the linetype just the way I wanted it and saved it to where all the AutoDesk .LIN are stored, everything in one place.
The linetypes worked for 2 drawings last week.
Today I carried on with the excercise on a new drawing.
Tried to load the .lin and I get the error message
"Bad definition of ******** at line **********" ect.
I had made a Wblock of all the linetypes, with layers, last week, so inserted this in to the drawing and it worked.
can any one advise as to why last week the linetype worked, this week it doesnt. But the block does.
