lines of different colours printing over each other

Hi, please could someone help me?

i have printed to PDf, but the light grey lines i'm using for easthetics, are printing over the black boundary lines.

is it possible to make the black lines overwrite the grey?

thanks for any help

Hi,

  • Try from your plotter( PDF options ) to check Merge control option .
  • You can also use that hatch as a black color but with increasing transparency value .. this way you won't notice the problem.

In the drawing just use the DRAWORDER command from the Modify tab after either selecting the black lines to Bring to Front or selecting the light grey lines to Send to Back.

There is a CDORDER command in the Express Tools which sorts out object draw orders by color.
