Line in annotative block not scaling

I have a block that annotative. Its a column bubble for grid lines in a building. The bubble and text scale to the viewport, but the grid line is a constant length. If I stretch it in my 1/8" viewport, then in my 1/16" its twice too long. How do I get it to scale right?

Place your block inside a DWG file that exhibits this issue then share that over here please @jriseborough

Thanks for the file @jriseborough

Your dynamic block changes size (aka remain a consistent size all the time) when I change the annotative scale of the two viewports in your LAYOUT1 and LAYOUT2 here, just the way you want.

Are you perhaps not quite aware what the annotative feature does? aka "consistent size" in all viewport plot scales?

Or is it something else like the linetype spacing perhaps?

Ok, now I opened in a different version of autocad (ACAD23) and its not working again. Viewport scales set correctly.

Still no issues here, I used AutoCAD2023, see attached.

You posted the same image twice @jriseborough

Sadly it does not change the fact that over here I cannot reproduce your issue in your files. Check your settings for ANNOAUTOSCALE and ANNOALLVISIBLE, mine are 4 and 0 respectively, and my graphics card regens in time with AutoCAD, if yours does not try forcing it using REGENALL command

I guess I dont see it working for you either. Perhaps I am not explaining what I expect. For the 1/16" shown, the line in the block is across the second line on the left. For the 1/8" and 3/32" its not.  Shouldnt the line stay in the same relative place?

Another thing i have noticed, is the block moves location in different scales.

Not sure how to stop that either.

That's a different question from the original: it all depends on the object's insertion point relative to the other content

And if you need to use ANNORESET command to remove any manual grip edits performed in some viewport scales so they all match up.

Ok, I think I will end this post and start another with a better description of what I think should happen.
