Line grips problem !!

I have a setting gone wrong I believe.

I have line segments that when tagged. Only a single grip will appear at one end. The grip will only move the line.

what has went wrong with these line segments. I have other lines that function correctly with 3 grips.

what setting corrects the single grip. In Autocad
