I would suggest this Idea that in the next version of Autocad Leader can be break, extend or some properties like a regular polyline.

By this, Leader can be moved in place faster and more accuracy using extend or trim. More easier to control the vertical , or angular positioning. Could be trimable when there is an object or text that intersects along it's way.

You can use the DIMBREAK command to break the dimension line when it intersects something. Issue command then select the dimension and then the intersecting object

MLEADER instead of LEADER would keep the text/block attached to the leader, and you'd use your plot style table or LWEIGHT settings to control lineweights.

And as noted above, the DIMBREAK feature works on Mleaders too.

thank you for the solution. How about the extend and trim is there a other command I am missing. I am more quick in trim and extend command than moving or re-positioning the leader  arrow -- thank you.

You can trim and extend dimension with the trim and extend commands but a leader you need a lisp. I have attached a lisp I use by alan thompson that was posted on the swamp. load the lisp and to run it the command is LET, then select the line to trim/extend to and then without hitting enter select the leader and then press enter.

Stretch command with crossing window works if all you're trying to  do is move the leader without gripping it.
