Importing Attribute Data Changes Text Style

Using AutoCAD 2016 - I have a block containing titleblock text attributes.  All attributes are set to style "IHI-Standard", an Arial font.  When I insert the block, then import data to fill-out the titleblock information, the style of the attributes suddenly changes to "Standard", Simplex font and the only way I can find to edit this is to edit each attribute one at a time.  For 100 drawings, this is just not going to work.

So, the question is:  how do I stop the import attribute data command from changing the text style in my block?

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you share your block in a post? I would like to experiment with it and see if behaves differently on my side.

To me, it sounds as if it is having problems finding a font but I would like to take a closer look.

I would imagine it is your import routine that is making the change to your attribute styles.

Can you upload the data import routine as well as your drawing file before the import routine does any updates to it?
