layer state manager

Dear Sir/Madam

I want to ask you something about layer state manager.

Do we use layer state manager ,when we bring a xref drawing in the (original or old ) drawing in order to save current settings?

Is essential requirement to use layer state manager the xref drawing? with other words if we have not xref drawing can we use layer state manager?

Hi ,

Layer state manager is like a snapshot of the existing layers and layer settings at the time the layer state is created . we usually use it when there is a lot of layers and different viewports.

it's NOT a must to use Layer State regardless if there is an XREF or not. layer state can be use in many cases, it's helpful command you can use it and you can ignor it.

I hope i help and Good Luck..
