LAYER PROPERTIES - TABS ARE MISSING

After a long spell of using Autodesk Inventor, currently I am doing with AutoCAD. Getting some hard times.

I wanted to create a new layer. I did it with the help of RMB options in the dialog box.

Currently, it is showing me up a filtered list.

I would like to know how to get the layer properties tab similar to Figure-1

Please help. Thanks.

Have you restarted and reselected your workspace? I find glitches like that usually fix themselves with a restart or reset to defaults (my last resort).

Those are not "Tabs". Those seven buttons are, from the left:

"New Property Filter"

"New Group Filter"

"Layer States Manager"

"New Layer"

"New Layer VP Frozen in all Viewports"

"Delete layer"

"Set Current"

You are also not looking at a filtered layer list in the Figure 2, note that the layer filter is set to "All".   It sounds like you may be having a display issue, see this: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-forum/layer-properties-manager-menu-button-icons-missing/t...

Thanks. You are right. I have no reference to know what they are: so I said tabs. I know on of them is for creating  a new layer.

Tomorrow, I am getting support from VAR on some other issue. They might fix this issue as well.

Yes, that button corresponds to this one (AutoCAD 2021 shown)

Thanks for the reply.

It is available in AutoCAD 2019 as well. I had another issue; i.e. the view cube was not doing well more than for the top view and the home (which was the top view).

I updated the AutoCAD installation with AutoCAD_2019.1.2_Update_64bit.exe.

Now my both problems:

1. view-cube was not functional for more than for the top-view (Figure-2)

2. Layer properties dialog box (Figure-1) are ok.

When I clicked the house icon over the view cube, it restored the top-view.

Having said sa, I was only able to do with top view. None of the other views did at all.

Note: After the upgrade, all the views are from within view-cube are functional.
