Lack of Name View when Export DWG file to DWF using AutoCAD 2023

Hello,

I have a DWG drawing in which there are 2 Name views created in 2 ways

1) View1 (I named it: FMS_SCALE) is created via a .NET plugin with code as the help link: https://help.autodesk.com/view/OARX/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-076B6391-F375-454E-BFB2-533BDCA9E23D

2. View2 (I named it: ViewTest) is created manually by using the AutoCAD command _newview

When I export/publish this DWG file to DWF file using AutoCAD 2023 and then I checked the DWF file in Autodesk Design Review I saw the named view which is created in 1st way (FMS_SCALE) is not included but the ViewTest does.

I do the same above steps but using AutoCAD 2022, the result is that 2 named views are included in the DWF file.

I would like to know what is difference between these 2 named views, and what is the change on AutoCAD 2023 compared to AutoCAD 2022 that the results in the 2 AutoCAD versions are different. What can I do so that I can export all the name views with AutoCAD 2023 regardless of the creative way?

Please help me!

Please see my attachment. I attached a sample .dwg file and an image that shows the result in 2 versions of AutoCAD.

Yes, you opted to share the DWG file, can you share your DWF from each year-version of AutoCAD too please.

Hello @kate.trang.nguyen

Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums!

For the community to help you best, it would be great to have some more details from your end.   As @pendean mentions, it would be great to get a copy of the .dwf files for each year. This allows the community members to replicate the behavior and hopefully advise a solution.

We look forward to hearing back from you with more information so we can help you as a community!

Thank you for the DWFs.

>>>...I would like to know what is difference between these 2 named views...<<<

In your DWF2022, there are three named views, this first one FMS SCALE is incorrectly displaying as the last view VIEWTEST, not what you created in the DWG file (which in the DWF2022 file is also called INITIAL VIEW).

In both DWF files, INITIAL and VIEW TEST correctly display the two slightly different VIEWs you saved in your DWG file.

In your DWG file, you have Visual styles assigned only in the VIEWTEST view.

It might help you and us view your issue better if the two views where "dramatically" different instead of "barely" different. But that's what I found.

And a reminder, I do not have your add-on FMS_SCALE to use.

Thank you for your reply.

But my question is why FMS_SCALE does not display in the DWF file but the ViewTest does when I export/publish the DWG to DWF using AutoCAD 2023.

And why all Name views display in the DWF file when I export/publish this DWG file using AutoCAD 2022? Because I create FMS_SCALE in the DWG file (see the image) and expected it to display in the DWF file too. What can I do so that all Name views under Model views to display in DWF file?
