Hello all,
I am facing an issue with AutoCAD drawing.
The text entities in the drawing are overlapping and creating a blurred display. (Refer below image).
The drawing file is an export from other software hence these entities in AutoCAD are shown as Block reference. However, when the same drawing is opened in another user’s system no such issue is observed in his system. Surprisingly, this system is alone system where drawing is displayed properly. I tried to copy the fonts (C>Program files>Autodesk>Fonts) from this user’s system in my system yet I was facing the issue.
The drawing mentions missing SHX font, but it does in both the systems and I am ignoring the prompt in both system.
Can anyone recommend if anything else is needed to be looked upon?

Which other program? there are no missing fonts in the file you posted either.
The only problem in your file is you have 5-total blocks, each with 2-lines of text and not enough vertical space between them
and each of those blocks has an embedded different block in each one, and instead of attributes, they are MTEXT objects set to Arial=2.54000mm in height (and in MTEXT why you see a different font for the Z letter).
Perhaps the other user is not using the same file you posted here, since there are no prompts for missing fonts etc.? Can't seem to replicate your claim here. Sorry.
Hi,
do you have a font "PDMS Symbol" installed?
The answer is NO, that's because the "Z" looking different, it is displaying by your FONTALT font,
what seams to need more space for the letter "Z" than the PDMS Symbol font.
Ask the creator about this font (and share with us) 🙂
Sebastian
