Install error - unable to find acad.msi

Hi all,

I am having issues reinstalling AutoCAD and Civil 3D.  When I try to run an install or update, I get an error message that a certain .msi file is missing.

The same happens with Civil 3D.  I can't even uninstall the program properly.  Am I able to download the msi files separately?  I have searched the temp folder and the rest of the computer and I can't find these specific msi files.

Here is a link to TROUBLESHOOTING tab above that tells you how to fix your problem.

Link:  Locating the MSI Installation Package | AutoCAD | Autodesk Knowledge Network

Hope this helps!

JRR.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I have tried updating, downloading the software via the Autodesk Desktop App, using the download manager, using custom installs and nothing works.

I can't even uninstall the software correctly.  The AutoCAD uninstall gets stuck and the Uninstall App closes itself as soon as it starts deleting.  If I try and delete other Autocad software, (civil 3D add-ons, I get similar error messages).  "Allied product not found".

I can't even delete the applications from my laptop!  This is a nightmare
